Apple is looking to hire someone to keep employees’ coffee cups full.
On Sept. 28, Apple listed a full-time iCup Supply Specialist role responsible for ensuring employees have freshly brewed coffee in their breakrooms. The specialist could earn up to $36 an hour and will sanitize, clean, restock and manage as many as 90 coffee machines.
“At Apple, we take coffee seriously,” the job listing reads. “We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and independent worker to join our team as an iCup Supply Specialist to manage a large portfolio of bean-to-cup coffee machines distributed throughout Santa Clara Valley.”
USA TODAY contacted Apple on Oct. 5 for more information about the role.
The specialist “will ensure our business partners have access to fresh coffee and breakroom supplies,” according to the job listing. Daily duties include refilling beans and supplies, cleaning surfaces that come into contact with coffee machines, running routes, answering service calls and communicating with building managers and administrators. The role reports to an iCup Service Supervisor.
The Apple job posting lists pay of $27.75 to $36.05 per hour.
The role is based in Santa Clara, California, and covers coffee machines throughout the Santa Clara Valley.
